Aero the Aerial Assistant is a camera drone item in Astroneer. Aero gives players a free camera in Creative Mode, with options to hide the UI or have filters similar to the Small Camera.

Only available in Creative Mode in the player's Backpack and the Action Wheel.

Uses

Aero is used as a free cam in Creative Mode, allowing players to have more control over video and screenshot angles.

The UI can be hidden in the Creative Mode menu, allowing for clean images and video.

Notes

• Aero will be recolored based on the player's current palette choice. It is unable to be recolored separately from the player.
• Aero is separate from the Player.
• Aero has no collision meaning players can walk through it and winches cannot be attached.
