Characters or sometimes referred as suits, is the avatar that is used by player as they explore and play through the game. At the start of each game the player can choose from the default suits, palettes, and visors on the EXO Dynamics space station. Once chosen, the character will blast down in a Shelter. Each suit is vastly different in appearance, but no special abilities are present in different suits, making the suits an entirely cosmetic option. Your cosmetic choices can be changed at any time in-game from the menu. More suits, palettes, and visors are unlockable through in-game actions.

Default Suits

These are the original suits that were added to the game in Early Access. They are unlocked and available to all players when starting the game for the first time.

Exo Suit

The Exo Suit, formerly Skinny, is a thin suit with long arms and legs. It was the very first suit added to the game. It is also the suit used in the tutorial section.

Bubble Suit

The Bubble Suit, also known as Bubbles, is a chubby suit with a big, round visor that gives it the name Bubbles.

Flight Suit

The Flight Suit, previously known as Pajamas, is a flight suit-styled suit that is typical of a generic astronaut.

Bio Suit

The Bio Suit, like the Exo Suit, is thin, but with a longer body and more normal length arms and legs.

These suits are unlocked by meeting certain requirements.

Exotic Suit

This suit is acquired by unlocking the "Vesania Awakened" Achievement by activating the Gateway Engine in the core of Vesania.

Terran Suit

This suit is acquired by unlocking the "Sylva Awakened" Achievement by activating the Gateway Engine in the core of Sylva.

Tundra Suit

This suit is acquired by unlocking the "Glacio Awakened" Achievement by activating the Gateway Engine in the core of Glacio.

Arid Suit

This suit is acquired by unlocking the "Calidor Awakened" Achievement by activating the Gateway Engine in the core of Calidor.

Radiated Suit

This suit is acquired by unlocking the "Atrox Awakened" Achievement by activating the Gateway Engine in the core of Atrox.

This suit is acquired by unlocking the "...And Beyond" Achievement by passing through the Gateway Portal.

This palette is acquired by unlocking the "...And Beyond" Achievement by passing through the Gateway Portal. It is the only palette to include animated effects.
