The MAT (Material Analysis Transmitter) is a module used to advance missions in order to get the Hoverboard and the VTOL. To complete the missions you need multiple resources:

For Desolo / Hoverboard:

• 1 EXO Chip,
• 2 Copper,
• 2 Zinc,
• 2 Plastic
• 2 Aluminum Alloy

For Vesania / VTOL:

• 4 EXO Chips,
• 2 Graphite,
• 2 Titanium,
• 2 Tungsten,
• 2 Tungsten Carbide,
• 2 Silicone,
• 2 full hydrogen canisters,
• 2 full nitrogen canisters.

MATs are only found on Desolo and Vesania. They show up as blue circle with a pointed bottom on the Compass as soon as the corresponding Vehicle Data Recorder is destroyed using Dynamite.

Uses

After locating the MAT, certain resources will need to be provided in order to advance the corresponding missions. After completing all tasks, the MAT will explode and the player will be given a Hoverboard on Desolo and a VTOL on Vesania (depending on the planet) and the corresponding Schematic will be unlocked.

• MATs are surrounded by debris
• MATs cannot be activated in Creative Mode
