The Medium Platform A is one of the main building blocks of Astroneer. It can be built from a Small Fabricator, and requires Resin.

It can be used for solar fields or serve as the core network of a base. Getting this platform from the landing pad will yield one that is different in appearance but functions the same.
Uses
This Platform can be used for the following:
- Some crates can be unpacked at the Medium Platform.
- Objects unpacked on this platform can be removed, and are not stuck there like the Tier-3 components.
- Used as a housing for one Tier-2 object and two Tier-1, like a Solar Panel, Wind Turbine, Generator, Medium Storage, and Artifacts.
- Storage for 4 small items (10 if using Storage module).
- Using Medium Platform C for storage prevents items from getting blown away during Storms.
- power connectors can be connected to the side of the platform and pass energy or use it.
