Rovers

Rovers are vehicles used in Astroneer that allow players to drive across the surface of planets. They can be charged up by connecting them to a base, or having a power generator connected to them. To drive most rovers, excluding the Tractor, a Rover Seat needs to be connected. Large Rover Seats can be used on the Medium or Large rover if more than one player wishes to ride along.

Rovers

There are five types of rovers currently available:

• Tractor
• Trailer
• Buggy
• Medium Rover
• Large Rover

Notes

• Rovers, except the Buggy, can be connected in trains of up to four rovers.
• Due to not being able to hold a charge, the Trailer cannot be driven on its own, even with the use of a rover seat, but connecting a separate trailer with a power source will allow one to be driven, with a rover seat.
