The Small Shuttle is the lowest tier of shuttle available, and is the first one the player can print. There are two Tier-2 slots on the Shuttle. The Shuttle needs either a 
Solid-Fuel Thruster or a Hydrazine Thruster to function. When the player is seated in the shuttle, pressing C or V(default pc keybind) will launch the shuttle into orbit. When in orbit, the player can choose where to land on the current planet, or press C or V again to travel to another planet.
The Small Shuttle is needed to progress in the game. Without the Small Shuttle it's not possible to get some Resources in the game, and bigger shuttles can't be crafted without said resources.
A Small Shuttle has two Tier-2 Attachment Slots. One slot is needed for either a Solid-Fuel Thruster or a Hydrazine Thruster. One slot is intended for, but not restricted to, an 
Oxygenator.

Notes[]
- Shuttles in orbit that are trying to land at a base that has another shuttle on a Landing Pad will not be able to land without another, non-used Landing Pad present.
- Players can take and bring back more items if a Medium Storage is placed on the side slot instead of an Oxygenator, with a packaged Oxygenator and a Medium Platform A or C to leave the Oxygenator on the planet the player goes to.
