Spire

The subject of this article has been removed from the game in an update.

As in version 0.4.10221.0, Resource spires are no longer in the main build of the game, these are done as a part of making resources in Astroneer non-renewable.

Spires in Astroneer, also commonly referred to as geysers or resource nodes, are slowly regenerating fountains of resources that can be harvested using the Terrain Tool. They are indestructible features of the world and cannot be mined with a drill head. There are currently two types of spires: small single nodes that provide Oxygen or Power and larger aggregate nodes with two interaction vents that provide Resin or Compound. A typical spire will yield almost 3 stacks. Spires will typically regenerate fully after 1 full day
