The Tapper is an item used to renewably extract Organics from Tappable Plants and Ice-olated Specimen(LTE).
- Each Planet's flora has a different tapping speed, with Sylva being slowest (at 1 per 80s) and Atrox being fastest (at 1 per 20s). All other Tappable Plants have a tapping speed of 1 per 40s.

Tips[]
It is useful to know the ratios between the Tapper's production rate and the Small Generator's usage rate, along with the ratios between the Tapper's production rate, the Smelting Furnace's production rate, and the Medium Generator's usage rate. These ratios are as follows:
- 1 Tapper : 1.5 Small Generators : 3 U/s (Sylva)
- 1 Tapper : 3 Small Generators : 6 U/s (Calidor, Desolo, Vesania, Novus, Glacio)
- 1 Tapper : 6 Small Generators : 12 U/s (Atrox)
- 5.333 Tappers** : 1 Smelting Furnace : 8 Medium Generators : 67 U/s* (Sylva)
- 2.667 Tappers** : 1 Smelting Furnace : 8 Medium Generators : 67 U/s* (Calidor, Desolo, Vesania, Novus, Glacio)
- 1.333 Tappers** : 1 Smelting Furnace : 8 Medium Generators : 67 U/s* (Atrox)
*This number is taking into account the amount of U/s the Smelting Furnace uses
** For the selected recipes it is recommended you take 1.5x (8 Sylva) (4 Calidor, Desolo, Vesania, Novus, Glacio) (2 Atrox), the tappers 1.5x the furnaces, and 1.5 times the medium generators (12) as to not clog your automatic system with organic which would terminate the production of carbon and result in a loss of power.

- When multiple tappers are placed on a Tappable Plant, the production is split between Tappers.
- The extraction rates were nerfed by half in the 6/17/2024 (1.31.76) update.
