Wind Turbines

Wind Turbines are items that generate power when wind is blowing, and they are able to produce power at any time of day. The amount of power that wind turbines generate only depends on if wind is blowing and not on the speed of the turbine. Each planet has different wind rates, making some planets better for using turbines than others. Wind turbines also produce more power than a solar panel of the same size.

Small Wind Turbine[]

A smaller version of the Wind Turbine, the Small Wind Turbine is a power source that can be placed on any Tier 1 slot, including in the player's Backpack. Small Wind Turbines produce 1.5 U/s of power.

Medium Wind Turbine[]

The Medium Wind Turbine is a Power source that can be placed on a Tier 2 slot. Medium Wind Turbines produce 5 U/s of power (formerly 1 U/s).

Large Wind Turbine[]

The Large Wind Turbine is a power source that can be placed on a Tier 3 slot. It produces 10 U/s of power.

XL Wind Turbine[]

The XL Wind Turbine is a power source that can be placed anywhere on the ground, and must be deployed before it can produce power. While deployed it does not require a platform, although while undeployed you can store it on a Tier 4 slot. It has 3 cable slots that will equally distribute the 17 U/s of power it produces.
